Málaga pictures, part II

Today I got the long-needed crêpe for breakfast - and it was worth all the craving! We also walked a lot as we went to Jardín Botánico-Histórico de Malaga (located a bit further away from the city center). The place was very beautiful and I recommend going there if you go to Malaga, it was completely worth seeing! After all we were on the move 'til the evening, so we were exhausted as we got back to the hotel, and decided to try our hotel's dinner menu (including drinks, entrées, main courses and desserts). I guess the menu was successful as we were completely full as we finished! It was so good. Like yesterday (in a restaurant called Casa Jaime) - I guess I haven't praised that one yet, it was one of the best dinners I've eaten in my life. I'm getting spoiled!

...with cows?!

greetings from Malaga!

I just came to tell you quickly that we are safe and sound here in Malaga with J :---)
Yesterday we went to city center to get at least some kind of insight of the city. Seems very good! Eventually we went around there many hours, saw many main attractions and got a bit sunburned - both of us. Well fuck, I wasn't supposed to burn myself anymore. From now on I'm gonna be so so careful..!
In the evening we had a goood dinner with red wine and after that we also tested our hotel's bar. The hotel is very modern and comfortable (even though the cleaning lady tried to come to our room at 9am this morning - how early do they suppose that people wake up?!). It's not located in the city center, yesterday we walked there and it took quite a long time (for me, as I'm lazy and slow), but at least we have a sea view. Today the weather looks a bit cloudy but it doesn't matter as I've planned on dragging J to a shopping center >:)

I haven't yet loaded any pictures even though I've taken loads of them but you'll see them later. Adios, have a nice day, I promise we will!

Easter Sunday

Hey! I just wanted to show you some pictures I took today as I was enjoying the sunshine and the warmth at the plaza right next to our home, called Plaza del Cedro. Actually I could say we live on the corner of that plaza. I felt the sun heating my skin strongly so I used a lot of sun lotion. I'm not gonna get sunburned again! There was also a weird (& drunk) guy who tried to contact me many times but I acted like I didn't notice :-D But as I said, here are the pictures:

¡Felices Pascuas!

PS. two days left!! TWO!

In addition, I added a gadget that occurs at the end of every post - you can choose between check, like and dislike. I added it because it would be nice to know if people have read the post / liked it / disliked it. Please use them, it would make me happy :-)

5 days to go!

How could I pass the next 5 days as quickly as possible? As I have no specific plans (and all the places are closed..) I feel so bored and the days feel like lasting forever. Well, at least I got something done today (finally) - I got my root growth covered. Now I'm blond again! (okay I've been blond all the time but it didn't feel that way with the terrible root growth)

So, now I can't say anything else but: 5 DAYS, PLEASE GO BY FAST! otherwise i will get bored to death. thanks.
next Tuesday - destination: MALAGA!

top 5 cities

In my opinion, you can never travel too much. You can visit countries but you can't visit all of them; you can see cities but you can't see all of them. You can never see or experience too much. And not often you get a chance to really get to know a foreign city. I've got that chance and I appreciate it. I know that Valencia will always mean something special for me.

But now, I'm gonna rank top 5 cities I want to visit (Spain isn't taken into account). There surely are more of them, but if I had to choose right now, I would prioritize them like this:
(all the pictures are from weheartit.com)

I've had an intention to go there for a looong time but I've never actually made it. Generally I'm not that interested in culture and monuments but Rome is an exception with its special attractions. After reading Angels and Demons (by Dan Brown) - one book that I've actually read from beginning to end in a few days (okay, quite a many years ago) - I haven't given up the desire of going there. In addition, I have nothing against Italian food and ice creams .... mmm.

2. Belfast, Ireland (or Dublin)

Well, I don't know why this city attracts me and actually I don't care so much about the city - I just want to visit Ireland! During my studies (already in junior high school) I've made quite a many presentations about Ireland - I don't know why- and I guess that's why I want to go there so much.

This desire has arisen quite recently as I've done some assignments for my French course about Nice. I've been searching for information and pictures, which has aroused my interest. I've actually checked some flight prices also... not expensive!! J, what do you think, this fall? ;-)

Miami beaches, bright blue seas, sunshine, beach houses .. Enough said?

I don't have any special reasons for this one, I've just heard so many good things of the city that I want to see it myself. I think it would be a nice destination for a weekend vacation as it's not far away from Finland. And also one of the few places that would be nice to see during fall/winter time!

Which cities would be in your top 5?

ABC

This week's three days of school just became two as our French teacher had sent us an email that today's class is cancelled. Fine by me, mainly because it's French. Now I should be reading marketing stuff for tomorrow's mid-term test as I was too lazy to read enough during the weekend but instead, I did some laundry, got up from the bed just a moment ago and now I sit here trying to come up with something to write about. Or actually I already have an idea for this post. It's called ABC of my life (I had this idea from one blog that I read). And I'm gonna make this easier for me allowing myself to use both English and Finnish words, ha!

PS. all the pictures are taken during the weekend.
