| can you spot Tarzan there? |
!Hola a todos!
This day went quite quickly and well. I left the house about 12.30 and my first goal was to find the university, all by myself. Apparently I'm not so bad in navigating after all - I just walked straight to the university, i didn't even have to stop to think about the direction. So i didn't face any problems until i got to the university. i was supposed to go to the international relations office and i knew where it was, but i didn't find an elevator or the stairs.. fail. Finally i found the stairs and got upstairs where the office is located. there were other students waiting outside the office and i thought i was supposed to wait too because they were there before me. well luckily a woman came there and asked if everyone of us was waiting to meet *name (i don't remember which it was)* and i wasn't, so she asked me to come in another office. there i just filled in a paper and got the information about next Monday's welcome meeting and some tourist information brochures. i also tried to change the order of my names there but they asked me to come back in a month, because the change would have messed up all the registration systems or something..

after visiting office i just spent over an hour sitting at the campus and tanning. okay i don't know if i can call it tanning but it was so warm that i was almost sleeping at the bench and I'm sure i got a little bit of tanning, at least i want to believe so! Then some guy came there to ask if i study there and where i was from. we spent a while talking about stuff and he said that he would like to improve his English skills as his native language was Spanish. here it's quite usual to meet some people as "doing tandem": you can teach and help someone to speak some language and the other one can help you with some other language. for me it's better than fine, because he can show me the city and i also get used to speak English (now it's quite weird; even though i can speak it, I'm not used to speak it) when i speak with him a lot and maybe he can also teach me some Spanish. good deal :-)

Later we went to a shopping center with Ksenia, two Russian girls and a Russian guy. we went to McDonald's (they serve beer in McDonald's here?!), and to Carrefour and a few other stores to do some shopping. I bought for example shampoos, Pepsi max <3 (you can't get it just anywhere here), towels, notebook, etc. And another red pants from Zara! It wasn't until after 8.30pm when we came back to the house. Then we cleaned up a bit very quickly as one guy came to check the apartment (there will be a free room as Ksenia moves away).
Okay I guess that was enough for today. Almost all the time on the move so now it's quite nice to just lie on the couch.
PS. Today I've heard more Russian language than ever before in my life :-D
